Fremantle, NewBe, Jumbo to adapt party game Hitster

MIPCOM: European production group Fremantle has signed a partnership with Emmy-winning and Millennial- and Gen-Z-focused production company NewBe and European toy company Jumbo Group to adapt Jumbo’s best-selling music party game Hitster into a gameshow.

Hitster has proven a hit with Millennial and Gen-Z audiences, challenging them to guess if a song was released before or after other songs in their music timeline. Fremantle Netherlands and NewBe will lead the creative development of the new format together with Jumbo Group, whilst Fremantle holds international production and distribution rights.
