Fremantle France rejigs top team

The president of FremantleMedia France is stepping down after seven years and will be replaced by the current executive producer of France’s Got Talent.

Bruno Fallot

Monica Galer will be replaced by Bruno Fallot, who will take up the role on March 1 having been the producer of FremantleMedia’s format Got Talent in France since 2016.

Between 2014 and 2016 Fallot was director of programmes at television channels NRJ12 and CHERIE25, both part of France’s NRJ Group.

Before that he worked on shows such as Total Blackout, Take Me Out and The X Factor at FremantleMedia France, while he also produced Arab Idol.

Galer has expanded the firm’s scripted presence in France since becoming president of its local business in September 2011, acquiring majority stakes in prodcos Kwai and Fontaram.

The two production companies will report to a board of senior FremantleMedia executives following Galer’s departure, FremantleMedia said.

Galer joined FremantleMedia in 2002 and established the firm’s Dutch operation, Blue Circle, before spending two years as CEO of FremantleMedia in Northern and southern Europe.
