Free streamer Filmzie lands on Roku in US

Edgar G Ulmer’s classic noir Detour is among Filmzie’s titles

NEWS BRIEF: Free movie and TV streaming platform Filmzie has expanded in the US market by launching its service on streaming provider Roku.

Rather than channels being dedicated to Filmzie content, Roku users will be able to find its shows by searching within the app. Filmzie titles include Edgar G Ulmer’s classic noir film Detour, Jamin Winans’ fantasy/sci-fi movie Ink and the debut feature from comedy writer Jason Headley, A Bad Idea Gone Wrong. The streamer has a catalogue of more than 1,000 titles.
