Fred Rogers appoints new COO

Fred Rogers Productions in the US has appointed a new chief operating officer following the retirement of Kevin Morrison.

Christopher Arnold has joined the company to replace long-time COO Morrison, who is retiring after an extensive and successful entertainment industry career.

Prior to joining Fred Rogers Productions, Arnold was general counsel and VP of human resources for Pittsburgh-based Schell Games, a full-service education and entertainment game development firm.

Arnold was responsible for developing relationships with partners such as The Walt Disney Company, The Lego Group, Google and Facebook.

Fred Rogers Productions is the non-profit children’s entertainment producer behind the PBS Kids series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Odd Squad and Peg + Cat.

Reporting to president and CEO Paul Siefken, Arnold will be responsible for the organisation’s daily operations.
