France’s Bayard Animation names Alexandre Hénin as MD

NEWS BRIEF: French toon house Bayard Animation (Little Brown Bear, Tom & Lili, Zouk) has appointed former Nickelodeon, Cottonwood Media and France Televisions executive Alexandre Hénin as its new MD.

The 20-year-old company, a division of publisher Bayard Group, said Hénin would lead the development of its children’s characters for TV and the digital sector, where Little Brown Bear’s YouTube channel has 850 million views and one million subscribers. Hénin was previously director of business development at BD Kids, also part of Bayard Group.
