France, Italy choose Double or Nothing

Italian and French production outfits have licensed a new studio-based challenge show from Israel’s Armoza Formats, developed in partnership with Studio Glam.

In Italy, the format will be produced by Ambra, while in France it will be made by H20 Productions. Both prodcos are part of the Banijay Group and will start pitching local versions to broadcasters.

The deals follow the recent acquisition of the show in Germany by Tresor TV Produktions.

The hour-long format sees a pair of contestants take on a variety of fun challenges as they attempt to win big money. The contestants must choose their opponents for a challenge, then watch them attempt to complete it before deciding whether they can do it twice as well.

The show, which launched at Mipcom, marked the first co-development partnership between Israeli firms Studio Glam and Armoza Formats.
