Foxtel streamer Binge orders Colin from Accounts from Easy Tiger, CBS Studios

Binge, the Australian streamer belonging to local pay TV broadcaster Foxtel, has handed a series order to Colin from Accounts, an eight-part romantic comedy series produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios.

Created and written by Patrick Brammall (No Activity and A Moody Christmas) and Harriet Dyer (Wakefield and The Invisible Man), who also play the lead characters, the half-hour series follows two people who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog.

The project, which received major production funding from Screen Australia with support from Screen NSW, is currently filming in Sydney.

It is directed by Trent O’Donnell, Matt Moore and Madeleine Dyer. Outside Australia and New Zealand, international distribution is being handled by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group.

Executive Producers are Brammall, Dyer, O’Donnell, Alison Hurbert-Burns and Brian Walsh. Rob Gibson and Ian Collie are producing for New South Wales-based Easy Tiger Productions.

The commission comes on the heels of the debut of Love Me, the first original romantic drama from Binge. The project is an adaptation of Swedish series Älska Mig.
