Foxtel goes shopping at Bomanbridge

Foxtel in Australia and Fox in the Netherlands are among a host of broadcasters to have picked up lifestyle content from Singapore-based distribution and production outfit Bomanbridge Media.

Foxtel has acquired food and travel series Paul Goes to Hollywood (4×60′), which was deficit financed by Bomanbridge and produced by Denham Productions in the UK. The show will premiere on UKTV’s Good Food channel next month.

Fox in the Netherlands and SBS in Australia have both picked up Donal Skehan’s Asian Baking Adventures (10×30′), while the latter channel also acquired the second season of Delicacy Hunter (11×30′), which explores different foods originating along the Silk Road. Delicacy Hunter S2 was also picked up by National Geographic People in Asia.

Meanwhile, BBC Worldwide in Asia and India’s Network 18 have bought Extraordinary Places to Eat (4×60′), while the latter and Discovery Asia have picked up hotel design programme Designing Paradise (13×30′).

Bomanbridge will be bringing each of the series to Mipcom later this month.
