Foxtel, Fetch TV to air ITV Studios’ ‘Corriedale’ special down under

Australia’s Foxtel and Fetch TV will both broadcast the ITV Studios crossover ‘Corriedale’

Australia’s Foxtel and Fetch TV will both broadcast the ITV Studios crossover production ‘Corriedale,’ which sees the worlds of iconic British soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale come together.

The rival platforms both carry the BBC UKTV channel, which will be delivering the UK soap opera special in Australia on January 27.

The crossover special features characters from both long-running series caught in a multi-vehicle accident scene. It was broadcast on ITV1 in the UK on January 5.

“This television event is hugely ambitious with never-before-seen stunts. It’s a celebration of everything fans love about British drama and we’re thrilled that Australian audiences will experience it on UKTV, with viewers able to immerse themselves in the stories and characters they adore,” said ITV Studios continuing drama executive producer Iain MacLeod.

Both platforms also broadcast Coronation Street and Emmerdale exclusively via UKTV in Australia.
