Fox sitcom New Girl heads to Hulu, Peacock

NEWS BRIEF: Disney-owned streamer Hulu and NBCUniversal’s streaming platform Peacock have agreed to share Zooey Deschanel sitcom New Girl after its 10-year licence deal with Netflix expired.

New Girl was produced by Chernin Entertainment and 20th Television and ran for seven seasons (146×30’) on Fox between 2011 and 2018. The sitcom, about a young woman who moves into a shared apartment in LA, will launch on Hulu and Peacock on April 17. Disney Entertainment is the distributor.
