Fox, Merzigo renew digital content deal in Turkey for next three years

The Walt Disney Company (TWDC)-owned TV channel Fox in Turkey has renewed its deal with the country’s digital content curation firm Merzigo for it to monetise Fox content for the next three years.

Merzigo, owner of the advertising-supported VoD platform Baslat, will manage all of Fox’s content on digital channels and platforms in Turkey until 2026. Fox Turkey is owned by the Fox Networks Group, part of TWDC, and has been on air since 2007.

Yigit Dogan Celik, Merzigo’s chairman, said: “We have been collaborating with Fox for a considerable time. The extension of our agreement once again demonstrates the productivity and trust that underline this collaboration for both parties.”
