Fox, Hulu get animated with two-season greenlight for Family Guy spin-off Stewie

Seth MacFarlane’s long-running animated sitcom Family Guy

US network Fox has given a two-season series order for Stewie, a spin-off to Seth MacFarlane’s adult animated sitcom Family Guy and featuring precocious toddler Stewie Griffin.

To be produced by 20^th Television Animation, the 10-part series will follow Peter and Lois’s villainous young son’s adventures in preschool.

Stewie is scheduled to debut on Fox sometime during the 2027-28 season and will stream one day after broadcast on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally. It follows in the wake of 2009’s Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show, which was cancelled after four seasons.
