Former NBCU Networks exec Léonor Grandsire named Newen France deputy MD

Léonor Grandsire, the former MD for Southern Europe at NBCUniversal Networks, has been named deputy MD of Newen Group’s French arm.

Grandsire will assist Newen France MD Vincent Meslet, who reports to Newen Studios MD Romain Bessi.

She will be responsible for accelerating the company’s strategy and diversifying its production and customer base.

VP of the association Pour les Femmes Dans les Médias (PFDM), Grandsire has also spent the last two years working with the Morgane Group on the development of its fiction department.

During her time at NBCUniversal Networks, she was responsible for channels in France (13ème RUE, Syfy and E!), Italy (Studio Universal and Diva), Spain (Calle 13 and Syfy) and Portugal (Syfy and E!).

Grandsire began her career at French broadcaster TF1, where her roles included director of development for TF1 Enterprises and director of the TF1 Group music division.
