Former AOL-TW exec goes Classic

The owner of properties like Underdog, Lassie and The Lone Ranger, NYC-based Classic Media has appointed former AOL Time Warner exec Robert Friedman as its president.

In his new position, Friedman will oversee Classic's portfolio of family-oriented properties, which include the former UPA, Harvey Entertainment and Golden Books entertainment libraries.
