FMI sells 200 hours to Lat Am

Broadcasters across Latin America have picked up more than 200 hours of programming from FremantleMedia International (FMI), including America’s Got Talent and Project Runway.

Ahead of Natpe in Miami next week, Sony Pictures Television Network has taken the forthcoming 10th season of America’s Got Talent (43×60’), while the 11th season of Project Runway (14×60’, 1×60’ special) has been acquired by Turner.

In Brazil, Globosat has picked up docuseries The Fashion Fund (6×60’), as well as the first season of World’s Craziest Fools (20×30’) and the latest run of Web Therapy (12×30’).

A host of Jamie Oliver titles are also going to Globosat, including the first season of Save with Jamie (6×60’), the second season of Jamie and Jimmy’s Food Fight Club (6×60’) and the freshman season of Jamie’s Comfort Foods (6×60’). Fox Life also picked up Save with Jamie for Latin America.

On the factual entertainment side, Turner has acquired Tattoo Nightmares: Miami (10×30’) and the fifth season of Auction Hunters (20×30’), while the second season of Storage Wars Canada (36×30’) has been taken by A&E Networks.

Meanwhile, Globosat has taken Untold History of the US (10×30’) and the fifth season of Live from Abbey Road (12×60’), adding to its scripted taking of the first two seasons of Wentworth, as well as Monday Mornings and Full Circle.

Finally, HBO Family has taken rights to the third season of Wizards vs Aliens (10×30’) for broadcast throughout the region.

FMI’s sales throughout Latin America have also included extensive packages with both Millicom and Digital Latin America for programming on both their linear and digital platforms.
