FME fills sales chief role

Distributor FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has appointed a former ZDF Enterprises executive as VP of sales for German-speaking and Eastern Europe.

Maximilian Bolenius joins FME at the end of March to help push its format and franchise programming, which includes Idols, Got Talent, The Adventures of Merlin and its Jamie Oliver titles. He will work out of Munich and report to FME’s London-based CEO for EMEA Mel Alcock.

Bolenius, previously sales director at ZDF Enterprises in Germany, replaces Veronika Gracher, who recently left FME to work outside the television industry.
