First LGBTQ+ version of The Voice heads to Thailand in 2025, ITVS confirms

Thailand leads the way with The Voice Pride

Thailand will be the launch country for the first LGBTQ+ edition of the hit talent competition The Voice in 2025, ITV Studios (ITVS) has confirmed.

The Voice Pride has been commissioned by Exit365, the same team behind numerous seasons of The Voice Thailand, which will enter its tenth season on Channel One HD next year.

Details on where the LGBTQ+ spin-off will air will be shared in the coming months, distributor ITVS said. It comes as Thailand’s new same-sex marriage law is set to take effect next month.

As well as Thailand, The Voice franchise is also present in Asia with The Voice Generations in the Philippines and The Voice Kids in Mongolia.

“The Voice Pride is not just a competition but a celebration of love, acceptance, and incredible talent,” said Pattanee Jareeyatana, CEO and MD at Exit365.

“As Thailand takes historic steps toward equality, we’re proud to amplify the voices of the LGBTQ+ community and give them the spotlight they deserve.”

Ayesha Surty, head of brand partnerships in Asia at ITVS added: “With The Voice Pride, Thailand continues to lead the way in showcasing not only world-class talent but also the power of representation and inclusion in entertainment.

“This milestone edition of The Voice embodies the core values of the format—celebrating individuality, diversity, and the universal language of music. As The Voice Thailand gears up for its 10th season, the addition of The Voice Pride further cements the series’ legacy as a platform for change, creativity, and inspiration.”
