The deal will see Fireworks Media, under CEO Jesse Fawcett, look to expand its presence in the home renovation space after producing Pamela’s Garden of Eden (HGTV Canada, Hulu), featuring Pamela Anderson.

Programming created through the non-exclusive coproduction pact will be executive produced by Fawcett and Taylor.

They have collaborated frequently over the years, creating and producing many HGTV titles, including No Demo Reno and Selling the Big Easy.

Lucky Stars Media has produced more than 100 hours of TV including HGTV’s Home Town, Off the Grid On the Beach and Mom & Me. Meanwhile, Fawcett, who founded Fireworks Media last year, produced titles such as the Flip N’ Move franchise before launching his new company.

Fireworks Media has produced more than 50 hours of programming since it launched last year and said it has already lined up production on over 60 hours of programming in 2023, including Small Town Potential for HGTV and an unannounced series for Magnolia.

“Our company has been gaining strong momentum in our nascent year because we’re aligning with the best and most innovative storytellers in their fields,” said Fawcett, adding that Taylor has a “unique ability to locate talent and create knockout formats around them.”

Taylor added: “Together, we share a collective vision to discover, incubate and develop talent who bring a fresh and distinct perspectives to the home genre.”
