Fireman Sam gets another call out

Turner Broadcasting System’s preschool channel Cartoonito has acquired the new, ninth season (24×10′) of Hit Entertainment’s CGI animated Fireman Sam series.

The latest season will be produced by China-based digital animation company Xing Xing.

According to Hit, Fireman Sam has been the highest rated show on Cartoonito since 2009. Along with the new season, Hit has also greenlit two 22-minute and 60-minute feature-length specials based on the long-running kids property.
