FilmRise elevates Katherine Weinstein to head sales

NEWS BRIEF: New York-based streaming company and studio FilmRise has promoted Katherine Weinstein to director of content sales and distribution.

In the new role, Weinstein will be tasked with driving sustained growth in the company’s AVoD business, expanding its presence on select platforms and analysing performance metrics to inform its sales strategy. Weinstein, who joined FilmRise in September 2021 as manager of content acquisitions, will report to Melissa Wohl, senior VP global content sales and distribution.
