Filmin, HBO Max, NPO prescribed Laura’s Treatments by France TV Distribution

Laura’s Treatments follows a woman dedicated to fighting domestic violence

Streaming service Filmin in Spain is among those to have acquired the critically acclaimed miniseries Laura’s Treatments from France TV Distribution.

Filmin has joined HBO Max in France and Belgium, RTS in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Blue in Switzerland, NPO in the Netherlands and ICI Radio-Canada Télé in picking up the 4×52′ social drama from France Télévisions.

The series, which was recognised at the 27th La Rochelle Fiction Festival last year, follows a pharmacist and mother who has devoted her life to helping victims of domestic violence.

But when she witnesses the shocking murder of one of her organisation’s members, her world is shattered. Tormented by the femicide and outraged by the indifference of the police and justice system, she decides to take matters into her own hands.

Created and written by Marie Kremer and Frédéric Krivine, it is directed by Akim Isker and produced by Emmanuel Daucé and Léa Gabrié of Tetra Media Fiction and Krivine of Torcello Productions.

The cast includes Valérie Bonneton, Samir Guesmi, Pauline Parigot, Rym Foglia, Pascal Rénéric, Yannick Rénier, Marie-Sophie Ferdane, Eva Huault, Darren Muselet and Catherine Amé.
