Fifth Season adds BBCS, ITVS execs to EMEA TV distribution team

LA-based Fifth Season (fka Endeavor Content) has made a number of appointments and promotions across its expanding EMEA television distribution team.

Jennifer Ebell has been promoted from senior VP of EMEA Sales to exec VP of EMEA sales and acquisitions.

She will now oversee the company’s London-based acquisitions team, which is led by Liz Tang, who was promoted from director of content to executive director of acquisitions recently.

Ava Mustos also joined the team in January as associate director of acquisitions from BBC Studios, where she was commercial manager of drama, reporting to Tang.

Additionally, Fabio Tinchant has been upped from executive director of sales, French Europe, CEE, MENA and Turkey to VP of sales for the same markets, with the addition of southern Europe to his remit.

Based in Rome, Maria Grazia Ursino has also joined as director for southern Europe. She previously held roles including director of content sales for Turkey, Israel, Greece, Cyprus and Malta at The Walt Disney Company, exec director of sales for Italy, Spain and Portugal at Fox Networks Group and sales director at Sony Pictures Television.

Simon Algie has been appointed executive director of digital sales, spearheading the firm’s expanding AVoD/FAST exploitation and digital transactions business. He joins from Vubiquity, where he was director of global content acquisition and licensing.

Additionally, Ann Schröder has been elevated from director of sales for the Nordics, Benelux and Ireland to executive director for the same markets, and Kaia Roemer joins as senior sales manager for Germany and CEE. Roemer joins from ITV Studios, where she was senior sales manager for EMEA.

Led by Prentiss Fraser, the recently promoted president of television distribution, the company’s TV distribution team is headquartered in London, with executives located in New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Stockholm, Rome, Colombia and Beijing.
