Produced by Utah-headquartered Camera 40 Productions and Ireland’s Dark Day Pictures, the series follows three teenagers who are unexpectedly catapulted into a brutal universe.

It stars Evan Nikolas Fields (Hacks), Tamara Smart (Percy Jackson) and Mackenzie Crook (The Office UK). Filming is underway at Troy Studios in Limerick with Glen Winter (Smallville) as director.

The premiere episode is streaming now on Angel.com and the Angel app. Film and TV platform Angel is operated by Angel Studios (The King of Kings), which is curated by members of the Angel Guild.

Jordan Harmon, president of Angel, said: “The Angel Guild has enthusiastically supported the first episode, and we know the series will capture the viewers’ imagination. We believe The Wayfinders will be like Narnia for a new generation.”

The launch comes amid an increase in faith-based content among US networks and streamers, which C21 recently explored alongside Hana Smith at Ampere Analysis ahead of this months LA Screenings.
