Expectation adds Studio Lambert creative

British indie Expectation has named a Studio Lambert exec as its creative director of entertainment.

Daisy Lilley will join Expectation next month, having exec produced and developed reality series The Circle for Channel 4 at at Studio Lambert.

Lilley previously spent more than 13 years at ITV Studios, most notably working as an executive producer on popular reality series I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and as series editor on Love Island.

Her series producer credits include Couples Come Dine With Me for C4 and Dancing on Ice for ITV, while shows she has produced and directed include ITV trio Hell’s Kitchen, Pride of Britain Awards and Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.

Expectation co-CEO Tim Hincks said Lilley had a “first-class creative track record, delivering formats which are entertaining, innovative and loved by audiences,” adding: “Her experience means she is brilliantly and uniquely placed to work with both traditional broadcasters and streaming services alike.”

Lilley added that Expectation had “built a reputation for breaking new talent, creating returnable formats and making bold, noisy and, above all, entertaining television. I am thrilled to be joining the team.”
