Rouillé, who left Mediawan recently following a restructure at the French media giant, will serve as VP of global distribution at Wyncor Media from August 1.

Wyncor Media has been launched to bring the Miami-based toyco’s brands to screens, games and immersive experiences.

It will focus on turning the company’s popular toy brands into animated and live-action series, digital shorts, casual and mobile games and immersive formats designed for digital natives.

Wyncor Media’s first slate of projects will focus on Kwaaks, the firm’s line of collectible plush duck toys, including shortform animations for YouTube and TikTok, serialised animated series and accessible mobile and web-based games.

Based in Paris, Rouillé brings over 30 years of experience in international television sales, brand management and licensing, having held senior roles at The Walt Disney Company, DreamWorks Animation, Saban Consumer Products, Xilam Animation, Planeta Junior and France TV Distribution.

In addition to developing and producing its own IP, Wyncor operates a global licensing business and has partnered with the likes of Paramount, Hasbro and the Emoji Company since launching in 2022.

Julian Jacob, founder and CEO at Wyncor, said: “As we take our storytelling ambitions to the next level, Erick is the ideal person to lead this charge. His deep expertise and global vision will be instrumental as we reimagine our IP. And he’s just the beginning – Wyncor Media will be expanding its team significantly in the coming months.”

“Wyncor’s toy IP is full of energy, originality, and personality – perfect fuel for content creation,” said Rouillé.
