Estrada left the Mouse House in April of 2003 after 30 years with the company and was replaced by Renato D’Angelo.

That three-decade stint saw Estrada join Disney as regional marketing director based in Miami, before being upped to the role of SVP of strategy and business development for Lat Am, based in Buenos Aries.

In 2017, he relocated to London to serve as SVP of strategy and business development for the EMEA region.

Finally, he was elevated to the position of general manager in Brazil. Based in São Paulo, Estrada was responsible for Disney’s portfolio, including two streaming platforms, cable TV channels, distribution and feature film production.

Estrada also oversaw the company’s business plan, growth strategy, local partnerships and day-to-day operations.

During his time at Disney, he managed integrations such as the Disney-Fox merger in Europe and Lat Am, which was completed in March of 2019.

Estrada joins Argentina headquartered out-of-home (OOH) advertising specialist Latcom Worldcom, where he will lead the company’s expansion into key international markets.

Valentín Bueno, Global CEO, Latcom, said: “The incorporation of Hernán is a fundamental step to strengthen our global presence and consolidate ourselves as leaders in the OOH market.

“His track record and ability to lead multicultural teams will be key to our mission to deliver innovative and effective solutions to our clients around the world.”

Estrada said: “It is an honour to join an organization with such a solid track record and such promising growth potential. I look forward to bringing my expertise to lead the next stage of Latcom’s transformation and global success – Worldcom.”
