Ex-Amazon MGM exec Keri Levinsky joins Roku to head content acquisitions in Canada

Veteran distribution executive Keri Levinsky has been named head of content acquisition for Roku in Canada.

Toronto-based Levinsky joins Roku after previously working on the Canadian distribution team at Amazon MGM Studios.

Before that, she spent more than a decade at MGM before it was acquired by Amazon for US$8.45bn in 2022.

Levinsky joined MGM in 2011 as director of TV and digital distribution in Canada, before being elevated to VP and later senior VP of Canadian TV and digital distribution.

Earlier in her career, Levinsky spent five years at Telus Communications as senior manager of business development, content for its IPTV service OptikTV
