NEWS BRIEF: BBC Two and iPlayer in the UK have acquired Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico, a six-part travelogue following the actor, producer and director as she explores culinary culture in the lands of her ancestors.

The show is a CNN Original Series produced by Raw TV, the same combination that worked on Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy – two seasons of which aired on the BBC in the UK. The Longoria series will premiere on Sunday October 8 following a deal with the show’s international distributor Banijay Rights.
