Espresso Media takes a detour to Route 66 as it heads to Mipcom

Route 66 stretches between Chicago and LA

Factual entertainment series Route 66 is among UK-based distributor Espresso Media’s slate of 20 factual titles for Mipcom.

The 16×50’ title unpacks 100 years of history along the iconic US highway, which stretches between Chicago and LA.

Other documentaries to be shopped to buyers include crime-meets-history docuseries The Man Who Wanted to Change the World (2×60’), aerial series Britain’s Rivers from Above (12×45’), Discovery’s High Altitude Carpenters S4 (8×44’) and S5 (10×44’), science-skewing The Cost of Convenience (1×92’), sports themed Ski Dreams (1×50’), world affairs title The Forbidden University (1×82’/1×52’) and mental health film Poised (1×97’).

Rounding out the roster are Addiction Unplugged (10×21’), The Green Desert (1×55’/1×85’), wildlife titles Outside the Frame (1×52’/1×62’), Montana Ranchers: The Quest for Harmony (1×46’), Bee-Kept (1×52) and two female empowerment docs; Tough Old Broads (1×90’/1×54’) and Shades of Survival (1×95’,1×52’, 4×25’).
