eOne taps BBCWW exec for Germany

Entertainment One (eOne) has appointed a sales exec from BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) to oversee its library in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Christian Fritzsche has been named VP of international sales at eOne, having previously worked on BBCWW’s scripted business for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Before that, Fritzsche worked in production in Germany as well as China.

eOne’s library of finished programming includes Designated Survivor, Conviction, The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead and Into the Badlands. It also has international copro Ransom and forthcoming Canadian show Mary Kills People on its slate.

Christian’s widespread knowledge and strong relationships will be invaluable as we continue to build on our existing partnerships with the German broadcast community across licensing and coproductions,” said Stuart Baxter, president, eOne Television International.
