eOne gets Watermark rights

Canada’s Entertainment One (eOne) Films International has acquired worldwide distribution rights to upcoming documentary Watermark.

Produced by Sixth Wave Productions, the doc explores ways in which humanity has shaped and depleted one of its most vital resources: water.

eOne will handle international sales for all territories excluding Canada, where compatriot distributor Mongrel Media will handle the distribution of the film.

The deal was negotiated by Charlotte Mickie, exec VP at eOne, and Daniel Iron and Nicholas de Pencier for Sixth Wave.
