Endemol Shine unveils Mipcom slate

The distribution arm of Endemol Shine Group has revealed its line-up of formats for next month’s Mipcom, including Lego Masters and a new project with Bear Grylls.

Virtual reality property makeover series, Your Home Made Perfect, is made by UK prodco Remarkable and heads Endemol Shine International’s (ESI) factual entertainment slate. It launched on the BBC this year using VR technology and visual effects to transform people’s homes.

Dutch prodco Simpel Media’s The Cocaine Trails will make its international debut in Cannes. The reality series takes a group of millennials to the origin of the drugs they take to bring home the impact their habit has around the world.

Treasure Island with Bear Grylls, takes 12 ordinary citizens to a tropical island for a month. They will be battling for their survival and a cash prize under the watchful eye of adventurer Bear Grylls. The show is a follow up to The Island with Bear Grylls.

Lego Masters, from Tuesday’s Child, has already sold in the UK, Australia, Germany and US will also come to Mipcom alongside music show All Together Now also by Remarkable.

Finally, in formats and finished tape, cooking show My Greatest Dishes from Sidney Street Productions (20×30’) celebrates four important dishes that have influenced the lives of 20 extraordinary chefs.

ESI’s scripted portfolio at Mipcom will be led by the dark thriller Deadwater Fell (4×60’). Starring David Tennant (Broadchurch) it is made by ESG-owned Kudos and explores the cause and aftermath of violence and unthinkable tragedy on a small Scottish town.

Meanwhile, Adult Material (4×60’) by writer Lucy Kirkwood and prodco Fifty Fathoms explores the porn industry from the perspective of a woman who has been working in it her entire adult life.

Eight-part-comedy drama, Fifty from Endemol Shine Israel is also debuting at Mipcom. Created by renowned novelist and screenwriter Yael Hedaya (In Treatment) it tells the story of 49-year-old widowed screenwriter Alona Nachmias, struggling to raise her three children and has two important goals to achieve before she turns 50.

Further series being showcased by ESI will also include returning scripted shows Deep Water, Peaky Blinders, Grantchester and Tin Star.
