Endeavor Content backs exec trio launching prodco Nordic Drama Queens

Three Nordic drama executives, including the former head of drama at TV4 and CMore in Sweden, are launching a new production shingle backed by US-based Endeavor Content.

Josefine Tengblad

Nordic Drama Queens is being launched by Josefine Tengblad, Sandra Harms and Line Winther Skyum Funch this autumn.

The Stockholm- and Copenhagen-based company will focus on developing premium drama content from established and untapped voices with an international imprint.

Tengblad had been head of drama at TV4 and CMore since 2014 and before that an independent producer. Her credits include Blinded, Top Dog and Agatha Christie’s Hjerson.

Sandra Harms

Harms was previously MD and producer at Fremantle-backed Miso Film Sweden where she worked on Modus, 438 days and Lust, among other shows.

Line Winther Skyum Funch was exec producer and founder of Danish indie WISK and prior to that executive producer and chief creative officer at Yellow Bird. She has worked on titles including Millenium, Occupied and Thin Ice.

“In a time where content creation is rapidly evolving, everything still comes down to talent. Our focus will centre on talent partnerships. With Endeavor Content’s support and expertise, we will relentlessly pursue our goal to elevate stories that have not been told and in a way that resonates in the marketplace and with audiences around the world,” the trio said in a statement.
