Elon Musk self-driving car doc crashes into Canada, Australia, NZ, Europe

Elon Musk’s Crash Course debuted in the US last month

Broadcasters including Bell Canada, Australia’s Nine Network, AMC Networks International and TVNZ have picked up FX/Hulu documentary Elon Musk’s Crash Course, which examines the Tesla chief’s pursuit of self-driving cars.

The 1×75′ event special is produced by the New York Times and Red Arrow Studios’ Left/Right – the same partnership behind Framing Britney Spears and Malfunction: The Dressing Down of Janet Jackson.

AMC Networks International has picked up rights for Spain and Portugal, while Yes in Israel has also taken the show, which premiered on FX and Hulu in the US in May.

The doc is based on a a New York Times investigation into Musk’s pursuit of self-driving technology, and the role it claims the Tesla autopilot feature has played in a number of accidents – some fatal.

Elon Musk’s Crash Course is distributed by Red Arrow Studios International.
