Elisa Viihde preps All the Sins

Finland-based VoD and digital TV service Elisa Viihde is preparing its latest original, a crime drama series about relationships that has been chosen to represent the country at the forthcoming Göteborg Film Festival.

All the Sins is from Finnish company Matila Röhr Productions and will premiere on Elisa Viihde in April.

The six-part psychological drama, about a group of individuals and their views on the past, is set in Northern Finland and has been written by Merja Aakko and documentary filmmaker Mika Ronkainen.

Ronkainen has also directed the show, which is being sold by Sky Vision and has been produced in collaboration with Business Finland, the City of Oulu, Film Estonia and the Finnish Film Foundation.

The show is the only series to have been chosen to represent Finland in the TV drama category at the film festival in Göteborg, which is held from January 25 to February 4.

It’s the latest original from Elisa Viihde, which last year unveiled 10-part Cold War spy thriller Sphere of Shadows (working title).
