Efman energised by ITVS America pact

Industry veteran Mark Efman has signed an overall deal with ITV Studios America to develop unscripted projects for the studio through his Big Energy Productions banner.

Efman, who will be based in New York, has set up projects at A&E, History and MTV2 in the last year, as well as forthcoming reality competition series Cedric’s Barber Battle, which will air this spring on The CW network

Bruce Robertson, promoted to VP of creative strategy at ITV Studios America in October, said Efman’s track record over the last 12 months “is a testament to the breadth of content that he’s able to craft.”

Prior to Big Energy Productions, Efman was a partner in MarkMark Productions responsible for a number of shows including the IFC comedy series Z Rock, MTV’s Nick Cannon Short Circuitz, A&E’s Biography and Court TV’s Parco PI, among others.

ITV Studios America recently promoted Gregg Moscot to VP of production, who is based in LA.
