Eccho Rights takes Turkish drama Kara

Kara, formerly Arak, is produced by Turkey’s Most Production

NEWS BRIEF: Scandi-based distributor Eccho Rights has added to its catalogue of Turkish drama for international distribution by picking up forthcoming project Kara.

Originally titled Arak, the series is produced by Turkey’s Most Production and set for its debut on December 21 on Show TV in Turkey. It tells the story of Kara, a young thief from the slums of Istanbul, who infiltrates the life of Zeynep, whose family he once robbed. Kara features İlker Kaleli (The End, Lost City, Secrets) alongside Öykü Karayel (Kuzey Güney, Black Money Love, Magnificent Century).
