Eccho makes room for Black Heart

Black Heart will debut on Turkey’s Show TV

Scandinavian distributor Eccho Rights has added another Turkish drama to its scripted slate after agreeing a deal with its producer Aka Film.

Black Heart tells the story of a brother seeking justice for the murder of his journalist sister who exposed a powerful media tycoon as a corrupt gangster. To get his revenge, the brother exploits an orphaned girl who needs his help to save her dying sister.

The series is due to premiere locally on Show TV at the start of April under the original title Oyunbozan.

“Black Heart caught our attention with its clever script and story of how the hunters become hunted,” said Handan Özkubat, head of Eccho Rights’ Istanbul office.
