E4 adds to fleet of cruise series with Crackit TV commission

Cruising to the Ends of the Earth is among E4’s previous cruise-focused commissions

UK public broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned another cruise-focused series from Brighton-based prodco Crackit TV for its youth-skewing network E4.

Cruising Paradise: Above & Below Deck is filmed aboard Princess Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises ships and follows the highs and lows of working life at sea. It is narrated by actor Callum Scott Howells (It’s a Sin).

The new 10-part series joins previous cruise-focused programmes Cruising to the Ends of the Earth and Supercruising: Life at Sea, both from Crackit, which Channel 4 aired in 2026 and 2025, respectively.

Cruising Paradise: Above & Below Deck is executive produced by Crackit’s CEO and chief creative officer Elaine Hackett and head of popular factual and events Jon Connerty, along with series producer Paula Fasht and production manager Hannah James. WPP Media Motion Entertainment is partner on the series.
