E! drawn to Temptation Island

Temptation Island airs on cablenet USA Network

Pop culture pay broadcaster E! Entertainment Television has bought the first and second seasons of rebooted US reality show Temptation Island for its channel in the UK and Ireland.

Hosted by US TV personality Mark L Walberg and produced by Banijay Studios North America, Temptation Island follows four couples who must test the strength of their relationships by moving to Hawaii with a group singletons in search of love.

While living the ‘single life’ alongside the 24 single men and women, the couples must decide if they’re ready to commit to each other or go their separate ways.

E!, which is available in the UK and Ireland on Sky, has bought the first two seasons of the rebooted version from Banijay Rights, with season one available from August 4.

The show currently airs on US cablenet USA Network, which announced the reboot as part of its 2019 schedule last year. The show originally ran on Fox for three seasons between 2001 and 2003.

The series is exec produced by David Goldberg, Caroline Baumgard and Scott Jeffress.
