Dynamic to Deliver DR drama

US producer, financier and distributor Dynamic Television has boarded Danish pubcaster DR’s new thriller Deliver Us and has acquired worldwide distribution rights for the drama.

Under the pact, Dynamic Television will distribute the 8×60’ series globally and begin presenting the project to clients at Mipcom next month. Production is expected to start in Denmark early next year followed by a primetime premiere in fall 2019.

Produced by Danish prodco Motor, Deliver Us follows five people in a small Danish town agree to plan the perfect murder of the local town psycho only to realise that once you start playing God, there are devilish ramifications.

It was created by Christian Torpe, head of Motor, and Marie Østerbye, with both serving as writers and showrunners. Jesper Morthorst, Motor’s other lead, produces and Christian Rank, head of drama at DR exec produces for the broadcaster.
