Duck & Goose toon joins AppleTV+ summer slate for kids and families

Duck & Goose is based on the children’s books by Tad Hills

AppleTV+ has unveiled its summer slate of content for kids and families, with series launching on the platform from next month.

Brand new shows on the streamer include animated series Duck & Goose, based on Tad Hills’ children’s books of the same name, and live-action series Best Foot Forward, based on the real-life story of Paralympic athlete Josh Sundquist. Both shows will launch in July.

Another new live-action series launching in July is Amber Brown, based on Paula Danziger’s kids’ books of the same name about the life of and challenges faced by a young girl.

Also in live-action but premiering in August and September respectively are brand new series Surfside Girls, based on Kim Dwinell’s graphic novel series about the summer adventures of two friends, and Life By Ella, the story of a young girl as she takes a new outlook on life into a world that seems determined to break it down.

Returning live-action series Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show will return in June for a special episode and four original shorts. The special follows Jack and his friends as they set out to solve a kindness mystery, while the shorts feature Jack’s interviews with real-life kids about their own acts of kindness.

In August, The Snoopy Show will also return with new episodes, alongside classic Peanuts’ Charlie Brown titles. These will be followed by a Peanuts family special called Lucy’s School.
