Drama Ladies in Black joins kids and factual on ABC Commercial slate for ATF

Australia’s ABC Commercial is taking a strong children’s content slate to Asia TV Forum in Singapore next month, in addition to new drama and factual.

Bunya Entertainment’s Sydney-set 1960s period drama series Ladies in Black drives the slate as it goes into development for season two.

Returning ABC kids’ series include Beep & Mort for its second season, Ready, Steady, Wiggle! S7, Fizzy & Suds S2 and Muster Dogs S3.

The ABC’s factual slate features a new series from Docker Media, I Was Actually There, which debuted at Mipcom, and nature programming including Wild Creature Films’ Living with Devils, which looks at Tasmania’s iconic marsupial, and the ABC-produced Megafauna, narrated by Hugh Jackman, which looks at Australia’s prehistoric giants.

Also from the ABC, Restoration Australia returns for S7 with stories about preserving Australia’s rich architectural heritage and the creation of spectacular homes.

In educational viewing, medical human interest series Secret Science, produced by ABC, reveals the secrets behind our brains and bodies.
