NEWS BRIEF: Denmark’s DR1 has commissioned a second season of gameshow format History Hunters, produced by local outfit Heartland TV.

The series blends national history with a gameshow structure, with two celebrity teams racing through real historic locations, solving puzzles and uncovering surprising stories from their country’s past. The format is distributed internationally by Primitives who launched it at Mipcom last year and has already been optioned in six territories, including Germany and Spain, underlining its strong global potential.
