DR heats up kitchen workplace dramedy Behind Every Man with Drive Studios

Behind Every Man is set behind the scenes at a restaurant

Danish pubcaster DR has commissioned Copenhagen-based Drive Studios to make a comedy drama from Julie Rudbæk and Jesper Zuschlag about sex, power and love in the workplace.

Behind Every Man (8×30′) has begun shooting and will be available on streaming platform DRTV and broadcast channel DR1 from autumn 2023.

Rudbæk and Zuschlag also created the youth-skewing series 29 and recent feature film Love You For a While.

Behind Every Man follows an experienced and successful head chef, played by Zuschlag, who suddenly has to defend his position when the new co-boss, played by Rudbæk, wants to update his restaurant and tries to oust him.

The cast also includes Ann Eleonora Jørgensen, Lars Bom, Camilla Lau, Mathias Skov Rahbæk, Ditte Hansen and Frederik Cilius.
