Dornan-led BBC drama The Tourist jumps from Max to Netflix in the US

Jamie Dornan in drama The Tourist

Jamie Dornan-led BBC drama The Tourist is jumping from Max to Netflix in the US for its sophomore season.

Season one will land on Netflix in the US on February 1, with the second season following on February 29.

Produced by All3Media-backed Two Brothers Pictures, the show stars Dornan and Danielle Macdonald and follows a Northern Irish man who must put clues together to work out who he is after waking up with amnesia in an Australian hospital.

Warner Bros Discovery-owned streamer Max was a coproducer on season one. However, it was not involved with season two and the first season was removed from the platform in September.

Executive producers on season two include Harry and Jack Williams, Sarah Hammond, Daniel Walker for Two Brothers, Nawfal Faizullah for the BBC and Dornan. All3Media International handles international distribution.

In the UK, season two premieres on January 1 on the BBC.
