Dori takes Selfie for Natpe

Israel’s Dori Media Group has revealed a slate of formats it will present at Natpe in Miami next week, including a competition show featuring contestants taking ‘selfies’.

The Selfie Challenge sees two groups of friends in different locations around the world compete against each other to mimic ambitious pictures sent to them. It has been created by Studio Glam in association with NBA Production, with Dori securing exclusive global distribution rights for the format.

Elsewhere Dori has Ciega a Citas, a Spanish romantic comedy, on its slate, which tells the story of a single woman who bets with her mother that she will be able to find a genuine boyfriend before her sister’s wedding.

The Israeli firm is also taking Power Couple to Natpe, having already sold the format to broadcasters around the world including in Brazil, South Africa, Portugal, the UK and Finland.

Dori recently linked up with Sony Pictures Television Networks, with the Japanese firm making its first foray into Israel by taking a stake in two local channels.
