DocuBay stocks up in France, UK

Forthcoming Indian documentary streamer DocuBay has signed acquisition deals with French producer and distributor Kwanza and UK docs sales house Journeyman Pictures.

Owned by Mumbai-based IN10 Media Group, SVoD service DocuBay will launch this summer with content from around the world.

Under its deal with Kwanza, DocuBay has acquired series including Himalayan Gold, Deeper, Hitler’s Last Secrets, Travelling with the Jinju, Jack London: An American Adventure, Chadar: The Ice Trail and Touring Talkies.

The Journeyman Pictures deal, meanwhile, gives it such series as PlayMe Burlesque, Moonwalk One, Sealers: One Last Hunt, Angkor Awakens, The Billion Dollar Bust, I Love My Muslim, Every Other Couple, Unbounded and Guardians of the Strait.

DocuBay chief operating officer Akul Tripathi said: “We are eager for DocuBay to launch in Q2 and to share our passion for rich, compelling human stories.”
