DLT, Nash plot formats JV

Transatlantic production outfit DLT Entertainment is joining forces with US-based Robyn Nash Productions to develop a slate of reality TV series for the US and UK markets.

Nash’s company has produced non-scripted shows such as World’s Most Amazing Videos and Out of Control Drivers for ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC as well as cable networks such as TLC, Lifetime and Spike.

DLT has previously worked on the UK version of NBC hit Meet My Folks, which aired as My Family for 11 seasons on BBC1, and wants to expand the number of UK formats it takes to the US.

As part of the exclusive arrangement, Nash will work with DLT president Don Taffner Jr to adapt UK formats for the US and vice versa.

The deal follows the launch of Raydar Media in October 2012, a joint venture between Target Entertainment founder Alison Rayson and DLT that collaborates with indies to create and finance new content and IP.
