Distribution360 helps stock Starz shelves

US premium cable network Starz has acquired a slate of children’s programming from Canadian distributor Distribution360.

Snapshots features talented young amateur photographers

The deal includes the first two seasons (39×30’) of Skatoony, a gameshow that pits tweens and toons against each other in rounds of trivia. It was originally produced by Marblemedia for Teletoon and is based on a Cartoon Network format.

Snapshots (6×30’), produced by Forte Entertainment for Kids’ CBC, is a photography competition format in which talented child snappers aim to outdo each other.

Also on the slate is The Mystery Files (13×30’), an adventure series produced by Apartment 11, and the first two seasons of live-action mathematics-themed The Prime Radicals (52×15’), from GAPC Entertainment. Both shows originally aired on TVO in Canada.

Finally, animated series Atomic Betty (26×30’) will also air on Starz, having originally been produced by Skywriter Media for Teletoon and Cartoon Network.
